The Future
Double J's The Brick 281
This page is dedicated to "The Brick" the bull of the future today. We are building our breeding program around his genetics, that will be crossed with the best lowline genetics the breed has to offer, along with more importantly, the best commercial genetics around. In 2010, there will be approximately 200 percentage and fullblood, "Brick" calves born. We feel in the next few years, his get will have the largest impact on the lowline breed of any bull to date. And once you've seen him in person, you'll see why. He's just that good. We had a few calves in 2009, and those just got us excited. We'll be updating this page as we get new pics to show.

2010 National Western Stock Show Champion Aged Bull
He went out the way he came in, winning his class and division. Even though he didn't win the overall championship this year, he has nothing to feel bad about. We knew going in, it would be tough to beat the younger bulls, always is. Thanks to the breeders who came up and shook our hand and congratulated us. He was pretty much the crowd favorite.
9 shows, 9 class wins, 9 division wins, 5 Grand Championships, 2 Reserve Grand Championships, American Lowlines only 2X Grand Champion Fullblood Bull. Never beaten in class or division. A record that is unsurpassed by any lowline bull. We've never felt like winning a big one, then retiring our animal. If it's a good one, we feel they need to be out showing and promoting the breed. But now it's time for his offspring to take up where he left off, and judging from the few we had this year, next year is going to be exciting. All we can say is , "they sure are looking good".
