DOUBLE J'S KANSAS CITY ROYAL RESULTS

This was the first time Double J attended the Kansas City Royal Show. We had a great time, and hope to be back next year. Of course our main attraction was "The Brick" whom we were proud of winning Grand Champion Fullblood Bull. He just keeps getting better. Scroll on down for some other pictures of The Brick on show day.

"DOUBLE J'S THE BRICK 281T" GRAND CHAMPION FULLBLOOD BULL

"DOUBLE J'S DR WHO 2U" RESERVE GRAND CHAMPION PERCENTAGE BULL. This bull is the result of flushing a fullblood cow, to DR WHO, a super nice club calf sire. we also have a full sister to this bull "DOUBLE J'S WHO'S MY DADDY 4U" . She won her class and then was reserve champion in her division. She'll be shown at the National Western in Denver in Jan. 2009, along with this bull calf.

CHAMPION BREEDER BEST 6 HEAD

No other breeder has had the continued success of winning every Breeder Best 5/6 Head, that Double J has , since our first class win in this event in Denver of 2007. 8 shows, 8 wins.

Other class winners ,

"Double J's Miss 53T" she won her class in fullblood females, then was reserve champion in her division. Vitulus Yes Yes Yes daughter.

"Double J's Miss 176T" she won her class in fullblood females. Colombo Park Zeffirelli daughter.

A good rearend shot of The Brick. The judge said what really sets him apart was when he walked behind him and observed his tremendous power and width in his rear end. Notice also his really smooth front shoulder. Something really desired for easy calving bulls.

Judge , Bill Conley, also complimented him on his nice stride when walking and sound feet and legs. "The Brick" is really clean front ended and though not usually commented on cattle, has the prettiest head of any bull in the breed. Just about everyone comments on that!

The greatest thrill in the show ring, "the handshake" it makes it all worth it. Laughing
