Welcome, our names are George & Tammy Jenkins. We have four children, three grandchildren  and several welsh  corgi dogs.  We have been raising appaloosa and quarter horses for over 29 years. In the course of the years we have been blessed to have owned and shown several world and  national champions. After slowing down in the horse business, we have started raising and showing the lowline cattle breed. This is a breed that is growing in popularity over the entire country, and we are proud to be part of it. On the following pages you will see some of our cattle. There will be a page for the different sexes as well as a for sale page. Anything your interested in, please contact us. And no, my house isn't leaning, but my camera was.Embarassed

UPDATE!!!! 2008 HOUSTON STOCK SHOW & RODEO

16 Hd. of heifers in the yearling Fullblood Heifer Class.

Double J heifers take 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, another sold at denver took 6th, and another sold in the production sale, stood 9th. Double J Cattle Co.'s fullblood yearling heifer entries took Grand and Reserve Grand Champion Female honors for the second consecutive show in a row, 2008 Denver National Western and now 2008 Houston Stock Show & Rodeo.

As one fellow breeder said upon congratulating us, it's an unprecadented acccomplishment in this day and age, with the quality of heifers being raised and shown. We just want to say thank you to our fellow breeders who have complimented our cattle and bought them for their own breeding programs and the judges who picked them.

It all began 4 years ago, when i contacted Margo Hayes about getting semen from her champion bull, "Vitulus Yes Yes Yes" shipped to the states. The following year, semen came over from "Colombo Park Zeffirelli". Some said we didn't need any new genetics over here, some said we already had the best genetics over here, a lot said I didn't know what I was doing. 4 years later after a concentrated breeding effort by Jerry Adamson and I, the results are starting to show up as seen here, and on the pg. 2008 National Western Stock Show results. Your never for sure about anything when it comes to breeding, but we think we may be on the right path.Take a look and see what you think. Feel free to email me and let me know. Thanks  George Jenkins/Diamond J Ranch/Double J Cattle Co.
